Suck

The past few days have been miserably annoying.

My internet hasn't been working very well, so today after fighting the prospect all day yesterday, I got on the phone with two different people from Cablevision. After waiting 20 minutes each time for a representative to talk to me, they were ultimately unhelpful. I tried everything, nothing worked. I finally decided it must be my router's problem and walked over to Radio Shack to buy a new one. My mom calls me while I'm walking to tell me the internet works now. She pushed it, and it works. Well done, I guess..! I mean I'm glad it works, but what the fuck? I toyed with it for hours and she touches it. Mom magic.

The other shit is that my laptop had a broken power jack, and instead of ordinary power jacks that can just be re-soldered, this one is specific and you plug it in and it costs like 50 bucks to replace. So, while trying to stupidly fix it myself, I deeply cut myself on my index finger with a screwdriver. Cool! I decided to buy one anyway, it costed $34 but I would have spent a whole fucking lot more than that in medical bills and fire damages to my house if I'd tried to fix it myself. If it makes the computer work, it'll be worth it.
